Christmas Tag!

I've seen this on a couple of blogs so thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and do it also :)

1.What is Your Favourite Holiday Movie?
I have two, there's The Holiday, which I love to watch at Christmas, and also The Muppets Christmas Carol is a winner!

2. Whats Your Favourite Christmas Colour?
The golds and silvers, all the sparkly ones! I'm a sucker for some glitter, and Christmas is the best time to get away with it!

3. Do You Like To Stay in Your PJs Or Dress Up For Christmas?
I open my presents and have breakfast in my pj's, so does my mum and brothers, then we'll all get ready and put dressy casual clothes on. We have our Christmas dinner on boxing day which we get more dressed up for as my mum's birthday is on Christmas Day, so we put time aside for that!

4. If You Could Only Buy One Person a Present This Year Who Would It Be?
My mum, just because she does so much for us all. Plus I'm single at the minute, if I wasn't maybe it would be different, I don't know.

5. Do You Open Your Present Christmas Eve Or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Day, never done anything on Christmas Eve apart from chill out watching TV

6. Have You Ever Built a Ginger Bread House?
No! But I'd love to....maybe that's something I could do while I'm home on break.

7. What Do You Like To Do On Your Christmas Break?
I just like spending time with family and friends. And getting away with putting yourself in food coma's haha!

8. Any Christmas Wishes?
Not really, maybe I'll have to think about that one!

9. Favourite Christmas Smell?
I love the cookie, sweet, and cinnamon smells. YUM!

10. Favourite Christmas Meal Or Treat?
Definitely the Christmas Dinner itself with all the trimmings! I can't wait for my mum's cooking again!!

Style Crushes #2

Mollie King - I seriously have a thing for the style of the Saturdays at the moment. My last style crush post had Vanessa White in it. I love Mollie's style at the minute, I've really got into cute little dresses and she's always wearing some lovely pieces, whether it's day or night pieces. I also love how she looks since she had her hair cut, it's really changed her look, I think she looks a bit more sophisticated even though I love really long blonde hair. I think I like Mollie because she seems like such a genuine grounded woman!

Lauren Conrad - I L.O.V.E Lauren Conrad. Way back when she was on Laguna Beach I loved her right the way through The Hills as well. I even own her books. She's just such a likeable person. And as for her style, to be honest, I'm sure that needs no explanation!

Keri Hilson - I don't think this girl gets the recognition she deserves for her style throughout her time in the music industry. I remember first ever seeing her on TV, in Timbaland's 'Way I Are' video a good few years back, and since then she's drifted on and off our screens. I love her versatility, from wearing all leather as featured in the above image, to a sweater and jeans to some of the most stunning evening dresses I've seen. She's definately one to look out for!

Who are your style crushes at the minute?

What's in my Make-up Bag?

Please Note: The picture quality isn't great, the lighting is really bad in my room with the bad weather so nothing was going to improve these images. But you get the idea :)

This is my Make-Up Bag! It was around the £5 mark from Claire's Accessories,  I bought it this summer so they may still do it! I'm a huge hello kitty fan, I have two other larger Hello Kitty Make-Up bags, they are totally different, I use them for when I am moving between houses. I also have my eye on another one in Rymann Stationary.

And what's inside (I tend to use most of these in my everyday make-up, although I tend to change my blush and eye-shadow choices every few days.

Update & Getting Into the Christmas Spirit

I have become a very blogger. I was never that great to begin with, but I do enjoy the blogging and you-tubing world. I was so surprised at how much insight you get into the beauty and fashion community, just by following a blog and subscribing to a youtube channel. I have decided on the run up to Christmas I will make a much more conscious effort to blog, as it is coming up to the end of the first semester at University which means I will have much more free time on my hands over the festive season.
I've also taken some time to think about what I would like to include into my blog, I don't want to feel like I am copying other blogs so I've been thinking of some various ideas for future blogs. But in the mean time I'm going to do some generic posts, such as my 'Everyday Make-up Look', what I'll be wearing to a work Christmas dinner, date nights etc. Also 'What's in my Make-Up bag?' and hangbag posts etc. I will also post about what I have wish listed for Christmas. I tend to find this time of year an easy to for myself to blog as I have more of an idea what I want to post about, we'll just see how it goes, also I want to include a lot more of my own photos etc. So I'm going to get onto that these next few weeks.
In other news I finally have a job in the pipeline, and I'm excited to announce I am going to be training as a Make-Up Artist in April 2012, I've been lucky enough to find a course that goes hand in hand with timing with my degree, so I get to do two things I really enjoy. I am SO excited about this. I am also VERY excited about Christmas. I can't wait to get back to my family homes, to have someone else cook for me, have the comfort of my own house, my dogs and the company of my mum.
Anyone else as excited as me about Christmas?
